Ball who at the request of the U.S Department of Interior set the standard for timekeeping in 1894, this was after a disastrous accident between two mail trains with extensive loss of life and propriety all due to a faulty timepiece. This Ball Hamilton Model 999A was manufactured in partnership with Webb C. This is one of the highest-grade pocket watches manufactured by the Hamilton Watch Company or any other watch manufacture of the day.
